The best time to post on Instagram is during lunch (11 a.m. to 1 p.m.) and evening after work (7 p.m. to 9 p.m.). Most Instagrammers tend to login via mobile. So they tend to avoid browsing during work hours.

When to post on Facebook?
People log in to Facebook on both mobile devices and desktop computers, both at work and at home. How it’s used depends heavily on the audience.
On average, the best time to post across industries is 9:00 AM, when people are just starting work and going online for the first time.
Facebook sees another increase in click-through rates between 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM when folks are taking their lunch break.
The hours of 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM are also promising posting times for B2C, B2B, software, and higher-ed organizations.
The best days to post on Facebook are Thursday to Sunday.
When to post on Twitter?
Twitter is perfect for dishing out tasty little bite-sized nuggets of content when people get a break from their fast-paced days.
With that in mind, it makes sense that engagement with brands’ Twitter posts peaks at noon when everyone’s having lunch and from 5 to 6 PM, right after people clock out from their jobs.
Runner-up: 3 PM – Many of the studies we consulted found that users were consuming and engaging with Twitter content quite often during the mid-afternoon coffee break hour. We all need a little pick-me-up, right?

Generally, putting out Twitter content during the workweek will be your best bet, especially if you’re in the B2B sector. By Friday, a lot of people have already zoned out—and Saturday and Sunday tend to be even worse in terms of Twitter interactions.
Twitter usage and engagement is especially high on Wednesdays and Thursdays, so keep that in mind when planning your next post. Plus, Wednesdays generate the highest click-through rates and the greatest number of retweets of any day of the week.
When to post on Linkedin?
The best time to post on LinkedIn is between 10 a.m. and 11 a.m. LinkedIn is a professional social network used by recruiters, salespeople, and business people which is why it’s often used during work hours.
Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday tend to be the best days to post on LinkedIn.
Weekends and after work hours tend to be the worst times to post on LinkedIn for engagement and visibility.
